Your Subaru is “Dog Test. Dog Approved”
February 26, 2010

Subaru and the ASPCA have partnered up to create a “Dog Tested. Dog Approved” campaign. 7 out of 10 Subaru customers have some kind of pet, so this partnership was created to help bring these pets and people together.
In the first year alone, a $1.2 million donation was collected through their “Share the Love” event. Over the holiday season, many events were held which resulted in over 350 adoptions and $28,000 for local agencies. Subaru is celebrating their partnership with the ASPCA though a campaign featuring, Olive and Zelda, two adopted dogs, driving a Subaru Forester.
You can see all of their adventures, and help “Share the Love” at Subaru.com. Below is just one of many commercials with our furry friends. You can also check more out on YouTube here.

The MAX Scheibner System was designed in Germany and is the only system of its kind. It is by far the most accurate system for measuring motorcycles available to the public today. The MAX is an opto-electronic, microprocessor controlled system. The principle components are a measuring bracket with two electronic measuring cameras, the target unit with two infrared illuminated target and an integrated microprocessor. The system contains the factory specifications on over 1200 motorcycles and compares your frame against that information. This eliminates the human error factor. The MAX-system is the superior solution for quick and precise measurements without dismantling the motorcycle.
If your motorcycle needs to be straightened, we have the most accurate jig available – the “MOTO-JIG”. The Moto-Jig is manufactured by GlobalJig, one of the most experienced and respected companies in the business and was designed to work in conjunction with the mega-M.A.X. System. Unlike other systems that require the motorcycle to be removed from the straightening jig for remeasuring, the design of the Moto-Jig and the mega-M.A.X System allows us to verify the measurements while the motorcycle is still in the jig. This ensures accuracy and saves time – getting you back on the road sooner!
We, here at Hall Cycle Center understand situations occur while on the road and are here to help. Specializing in precision, accuracy, and safety when it comes to your bike, you can trust in us for your bike needs.

2011 Honda CR-Z – Arriving in Maryland Soon
February 25, 2010

The new CR-Z is the newest sports sedan from Honda. Usually the Eco friendly standards force consumers to forget about joy riding and buy based on practicality, but not with this car. The CR-Z strikes a unique balance and will broaden the appeal of hybrids. It’s a hybrid for drivers who enjoy driving and are unwilling to sacrifice handling and exhilaration for mpg and environmental accountability.

The CR-Z has three driving modes: Sport, Normal and ECON™. EPA estimates this vehicle getting 36 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway and that’s when only driven in normal mode. This may be the first time customers don’t have to compromise economy for performance or vice versa.
The CR-Z is a two-door coupe, with a very sleek and sporty design. People interested in this car want to drive it because it’s fun, not just because it’s green.
Look for this new model in late 2010 as a 2011 model. The 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine, combined with the hybrid system, makes this 122 horsepower vehicle worth the wait. Fear not, both transmission options will be available, a six-speed manual and a Continuously Variable Transmission. If fuel costs are a major concern, go with the CVT model which is estimated to get more miles per gallon.
Keep checking back in to catch the first glimpse of this new futuristic, eco-friendly vehicle when it hits your Heritage Honda showroom in 2011.

1962 Vette on Display at Hall Chevrolet Western Branch
February 24, 2010
Hall Chevrolet Western Branch has a vintage 1962 Corvette Convertible on display in the showroom.
In its original condition with t-tan transmission and all matching numbers, this eye-catcher is Ermine White with black interior. It also comes with not one, but two hardtops; one Black and the other White.
If the 1961 Corvette was good, the 1962 Corvette was even better. With more power and even cleaner looks, it ranks as perhaps the most desirable Corvette between 1957 and 1963. Engine displacement increased from 283ci in 1961 to 327ci for 1962. The 1962 Corvette was faster, handled better, looked handsomer, and was more civilized than any previous Corvette, but retained much of the charm of the original roadster concept.
Come out to Hall Chevrolet Western Branch and lay your eyes on this 1962 Ermine White Corvette Convertible beauty! While your there, make sure to check out the new 2010 Corvette in multiple colors.

If you’re one of the trendy hipsters driving a Smart Fortwo, here’s another way of pimping up your ride: Daimler has announced a Q2 2010 launch for its Smart Drive kit for the iPhone. As pictured above, the kit consists of a cradle for hands-free communication plus charging, and an app that “combines all the features needed on the road” by the means of “extra-large buttons and extra-large letters.” You’ll get access to your usual music library (plus Internet radio), contacts, phone functions and map by Daimler (points-of-interest data from Microsoft Bing).
There’s also the handy “Assist” feature that can automatically mark your parking location when not docked, and can provide GPS coordinates to the Smart hotline for roadside assistance.
