2013 Nissan Pathfinder

2013 Nissan Pathfinder

With the consumer’s desires at mind, the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder has transformed from the previous truck-like vehicle into a comfortable, family friendly SUV. The new and improved Nissan has become a spacious seven-passenger SUV, void of any down falls found in the previous model. It has found its niche in a unibody structure and travels at an estimated 20 mpg city/26 mpg highway and 22 combined. With these impressive numbers, the pathfinder is now one of the most fuel-efficient vehicles on the road.

Don’t let this slimmed down model deceive you though, the Pathfinder can still find its inner truck while towing up to 5,000 pounds. Running on a V-6 engine and generating about 260 horsepower the SUV is most certainly a force to be aware of. This light-weight but strong 2013 model is capable of pulling a large boat up to the lake while ensuring a comfortable ride for the family. The Pathfinder displays a welcoming cabin, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and a sleek center stack offering a six speaker sound system with a six-CD changer.

With the S series already equipped with these gadgets and more, the experience only increases with different trim levels- SV, SL, and Platinum. The SV takes a leap and includes Bluetooth phone connectivity, a 7-inch color multi-information display, a rear-view camera, an upgraded audio system with a single-CD player, satellite radio and a USB/iPod interface. Each trim has its own specialty to match your needs and desires. If a 13-speaker Bose audio system sounds appealing than the Pathfinder Platinum trim is for you.

With it’s 2013 transformation this Nissan Pathfinder is a welcomed addition to the mid-size SUV class especially when given it’s range of advantages over some of the underpowered competition.
