Next week, fans will flock to theaters for the long awaited return of their four favorite New Yorkers in the soon-to-be blockbuster “Sex and the City 2″. Making its big screen debut along side Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) is the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet. Commenting on the choice to feature Mercedes in “Sex and the City”, Steve Cannon, Vice President of Marketing, Mercedes-Benz USA, notes : ”The Mercedes-Benz brand has always attracted trendsetters and style-makers and the partnership with New Line Cinema’s ‘Sex and the City,’ which personifies these attributes, is a very natural fit.”
Sex and the City style icons Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda are back and the four friends remain true to their exclusive lifestyle as they escape from the city and find themselves embarking on adventures in the ultra-luxurious Maybach and the Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV. Back home in New York City, Mr. Big. keeps his S-Class, but moves to the new eco-friendly S400 Hybrid, and Carrie and Mr. Big embrace summer chic by heading to Connecticut behind the wheel of their all-new 2011 E-Class Cabriolet, which makes its own retail debut June 2010.

Just when you thought that Mercedes-Benz has every luxury SUV angle covered, up pops another one, the 2010 GLK350 4MATIC.
Sliding in under the M-Class, the compact GLKClass is 10-inches shorter, with 6-inches less wheelbase. It sports younger, more angular styling that’s closer to the classic G-Class than the current aerodynamic M and GL.
Designed to be the most agile and economical member of the Mercedes-Benz gas SUV lineup, the GLK350 is sufficiently powered by the same 268-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 that powers the ML350 and shifts through a seven-speed automatic transmission. But with nearly 700 pounds less bulk, the GLK delivers better government fuel economy ratings of 16 city/22 highway.
The 2010 GLK drives all four wheels through a proven 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. A rear drive version is also in the cards. The GLK shares much of its mechanicals with the C-Class including a light weight strut front and rear multi-link suspension. Another new feature is the Agility Control Damping system, which stifles road noise and tire vibration, while allowing for a stiffer shock.
Inside, the GLK offers the same angular look as the outside, with impressive room for both five passengers and their cargo. As expected, the GLK cabin is very well equipped, with everything from dual-zone climate controls to Bluetooth to panoramic sunroof.

The next Mercedes-Benz four-door-coupe gets an evolved look and more equipment.
Five years ago, the term four-door coupe was an oxymoron. But in 2004, Mercedes-Benz used it to describe the new CLS, and logic was trampled by star-struck customers waving their checkbooks. Rival manufacturers were equally enthralled. Witness the Jaguar XF and the Volkswagen Passat CC. In 2010, BMW will launch a thematically similar four-door, and Audi will chime in with the A7. Mercedes, meanwhile, is readying the second-generation CLS. A careful evolution of the original design, the new low-roof four-seater was masterminded by Gorden Wagener, who was recently appointed head of the design department, replacing Peter Pfeiffer. Sales of the first CLS have run about 40 percent ahead of expectations, and that good news is tempered only slightly by the fact that many of those sales were stolen from the E-class, which looks rather bland in comparison.
