Hall Chrysler Jeep Dodge was one of four MileOne dealers to receive the 2010 DealerRater of the Year Award. Also included are Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis, Tischer BMW, and Herb Gordon Nissan.

This honor is given for distinction in customer satisfaction based upon customer’s reviews of their dealership experience generated on the DealerRater Web site.

Each of this year’s award winners has demonstrated consistently high PowerScore ratings for customer satisfaction, placing them in the top of their class.

Each dealership’s PowerScore is determined using a Bayesian algorithm that factors in the dealership’s average DealerRater.com user rating over each of the year’s twelve months and the total number of reviews written about the dealership during the calendar year. The dealership must also have at least twenty-five (25) new reviews written on DealerRater and an average rating greater than 4.0, with 5.0 as the highest possible score. The dealership that’s awarded the DealerRater overall Dealer of the Year award is recognized for having a PowerScore that outranks other brand-specific Dealer of the Year winners.

In 2008 MileOne became committed to the dealer review process in all locations. This decision was made to better understand our customers and to enable a car buying experience that is best in market. Ratings are like performance reviews. Based on a bad or good review, dealers are able to identify good processes and also where improvements are needed.

In today’s competitive market we’re finding more of our customers searching in internet for customer service information not just pricing. DealerRater has been a great showcase for our store, giving honest testimonies that our future customers see value in. This year we found another way to utilize DeareRater’s positive feedback. With selling over 500 cars on eBay now, DealerRater gives our eBay customer another source to review our store’s reputation.
