If you’ve started noticing that your navigation is not showing newly completed roads, stores or restaurants there is a good chance all your system needs is a good update. Just like any computer, your navigation system needs to run updates to keep the software current with the changing times.
Each year, the map database is updated with new sub divisions, improved rural maps and other roadway changes. Points of interest like stores and restaurants are periodically updated. Occasionally new features are added to the navigation systems.
For most manufacturers updating your navigation is as simple as ordering a new DVD. Consult your dealer for details.
